Hotel Peten Express - Flores

We had a fantastic stay at the hostel in Flores. The dorm room was a bit small with limited space for our backpacks, but the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning kept us cool throughout the night. The highlight of our stay was the pool area with its stunning sunset views. The breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes and fruit. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was superb, close to the bus station and with a beautiful view of the river. we highly recommend this hostel for a great stay in Flores.

I recently stayed at Peten Express for a few days during my visit to Flores. The restaurant was amazing, with great sunset views and affordable prices. One of the pools even had a bar overlooking the island edge, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The hotel had a cozy ambiance, clean dorms, and excellent facilities. The staff went above and beyond by quickly packing up our dinner when we had to catch a bus. Their effort was truly commendable!

The hostel room was clean and modern, with handy plug points and lockers. The staff were fantastic and were very good too help us.

The only thing that could make the morning meal better was if they improved the consistency of the breakfast options.

I was pleasantly surprised when they prepared a breakfast box for my early tour, a thoughtful gesture that I truly appreciated. The location of the hotel was perfect, being very close to the bus station and situated right in front of the river. The swimming pool was a great addition, providing a refreshing spot to relax. it was an awesome experience and I highly recommend staying here.

Comfortable stay with a big and cozy bed. I enjoyed the delicious meals at the restaurant and the convenient location by the lake. The friendly staff allowed me an early check-in and provided a tasty complimentary breakfast. The included amenities such as free WiFi, air conditioning, and private lockers made my stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to the park. The bungalows were cozy and the beds were comfortable. I loved waking up to the sounds of exotic birds by the pool and even spotting spider monkeys in the trees. The colonial building by the waterfront was amazing, and being able to swim in the lake and pool was a bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they even helped me book a tour to Tikal without having to deal with scammers on the street. The breakfast provided was delicious and they even packed me a lunch for my early morning trips. The pool was a great place to relax, and my bed was made every day. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location and comfortable accommodations.

stayed here after a not-so-great experience in flores and peten express blew me away! cleaner, comfier dorms, great pool area, and an awesome location. no issues with basic things like towel changing. exceeded expectations!

One small thing was off, toilet in the bathroom wasn't working.

I had an very nice stay at Hotel Peten Express in Flores. The value for my money was amazing, feeling like I was staying in a true hotel while paying just a fraction of the cost. The staff here were very nice, especially David were great to make my late arrival smooth and hassle-free. The room was comfortable with spacious beds and the lockers provided a sense of security. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake was a great start to the day, and the location couldn't have been better.

The hotel offers a great breakfast and has excellent cleaning staff. the reception is friendly and helpful. the lobby/restaurant area has a beautiful view of the lake. the swimming pool is a bonus. the shared dorm beds are spacious and comfortable, with personal lights and plugs. the shared bathroom has a good shower and hot water. the included breakfast is a great bonus for the price.

The restaurant served delicious food with great views of the sunset. The staff were really good by helping me pack my dinner quickly when I needed to catch a bus. The small hotel atmosphere and nice dorms made my stay comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great free breakfast with take-away bag for early departures. Free towels and toiletries, showers are fantastic. Friendly staff and easy to meet people. Good value for money with beautiful lake view and pool.

The dorm beds were a great deal as we got all the hotel facilities at a fraction of the cost. the private bathrooms in the dorm rooms were clean and there were additional shared bathroom facilities right outside the door. This made it easy for us to get ready without disturbing others. the location was also fantastic, offering stunning sunrise views over the water. Plus, the hotel had air-conditioning, which was much needed in the area.

The hostel lacked a bit of atmosphere, but luckily there were other nearby places to make up for it. the dorms were a bit crowded and we could hear noise from neighboring nightclubs, which was a bit too much at times.

stayed at Peten Express, a super-clean hotel with friendly staff. David was particularly helpful when I arrived late at night after a long journey. the breakfast on the terrace had a fabulous view of the lake and you could watch the world go by. Comfortable beds, lockers, and individual lights and sockets for each bed. the restaurant had amazing food at affordable prices and offered stunning sunset views. the staff went above and beyond, even packing our dinner in containers for us when we had to catch a bus. They also provided a box lunch for our early Tikal tour. The pool with a bar was great, and we were allowed to use the facilities after check-out. cons: nothing, no complaints at all! 😊.
